Development of the Greater Gorgon gas fields is one the most significant natural resources projects undertaken in Australia’s history.

Expected to yield an estimated 40 trillion cubic feet of gas, the resource is considered to be Australia’s largest and its commercialisation is of critical importance to the economy.

The initial development of the Greater Gorgon gas fields together with associated construction and ongoing gas extraction, processing and supply activities will create employment opportunities for more than 20,000 people over two generations.
