Recruiting experts in Launceston
Recruiting experts Hays have opened an office in Launceston in response to jobs growth for qualified, professional and skilled people.
Hays will recruit experts for the accountancy & finance, office support, contact centres, information technology, human resources, energy, resources & mining and trades & labour markets.
Tim James, Senior Regional Director of Hays in Launceston, said an increase in local staffing requirements is the result of the state’s construction and mining sectors. “A revived resources sector and large-scale infrastructure projects have lifted jobs growth and opportunities in the North and North West,” he said.
“Employers in the local region are recruiting, the economy is growing, infrastructure projects are going ahead and government support is available for key industries. This is fuelling a rising local jobs market for skilled professionals, particularly Project Managers and Senior Infrastructure specialists in IT, and Project Managers across design, construction and electrical contracting. Financial and Management Accountants with industry experience are also sought.

“By opening an office locally (Hays has been established in Hobart for six years), we will be closer to our clients and candidates and can better service our state-wide client base,” said Tim.
